Environmental Capsules

Capsules are controlled environments at the architectural scale, enabling growth, evaluation, and mediation of entire ecosystems. Simulated growth conditions may be programmed based on ecosystems spanning vastly different spatial scales, time zones, and climates. This project scope was multi-year and included initial architectural detailing of the room as well as creation of elements for the room.
